This hotel offers a good service full of traditions, and is one of the best hotels in town. The hotel has just built a fully equipped spa, accessible directly from the room via the lift. It includes a beautiful indoor swimming pool, a sauna, solarium and various beauty rooms. This hotel comes highly recommended. 0807SO
lobby
The medium sized lobby is traditional in style. It has a stone tiled floor and with the inclusion of a large Persian rug and the colourful classical furniture employed, the area is particularly welcoming. A cosy lounge area leads off the lobby area, where guests can relax and order drinks
exterior
The building is a lovely traditional large Swiss chalet style house. The facade is cream with dark wood and gold trimmings, which help to give the hotel its elegant appearance
restaurant
The two restaurants provide a choice between an international cuisine served in refined surroundings and a more simple cuisine served in a more casual atmosphere
rooms
With a fantastic view over the beautiful Matterhorn, there really is no other view like it. The decor in the rooms varies slightly, but all are traditionally furnished and in very good condition. The bathrooms too are in very good condition
location
This renowned hotel is set in the heart of Zermatt on the main shopping street. It is a short walk from the railway station
