With it's prime location, this is an excellent first class property - refreshingly different and eye catching in design. Limited car parking is available on a first come first serve basis with local charges at the hotel applying. (GW 03/2009)

The restaurant has a Mediterranean style menu and contemporary decor. There is also a bar offering a wide range of drinks and a Lounge menu.

The bedrooms vary in size, however all are united in terms of quality and comfort. They are modern with contemporary furnishings - from the cherry wood furniture, to the metallic blind and ceiling down-lighters. All rooms have free WI-FI throughout, Large power showers, interactive satellite television, radio and hairdryer.

Situated in the heart of York in a unique location with the advantage of a peacfeul setting combined with being inside the old city walls, and only a few minutes walk from the city centre. It is close to Cliffords Tower and the Castle Museum.
