exteriorThe hotel is split into two buildings. One is an apartment style 2 storey block and the other is a round rondavel style building painted white with a 'boma' style roof which is common in the area.
lobbyA bright and welcoming reception desk greets the guests as you enter the lobby. There is a large water feature and a curio tourist shop too.
generalA very good popular 4* hotel close to Kruger park. The Winkler has an outdoor swimming pool in a breathtaking setting surrounded by tall trees and forest, tennis court, a bar with a seperate lounge and meetig facilities. Game drives can be organised from the hotel. (AHJ 05/09)

restaurantThere is an excellent restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant has lots of windows offering views of the garden and a high pitched roof and plenty of seating. There is a good menu offering a choice of international and local cuisine as well as a wide choice of South African wine.
roomsAll rooms have their own verandah or balcony with pleasant views of the hotel's gardens and surrounding forest. Rooms are en-suite with satellite TV, air-conditioning, safe, table and chairs, and tea & coffee making facilities. The rooms are a good size and have light blue furnsishings.
locationSituated close to Whiteriver and just 14 km's from Mpumulanga airport, the Winkler is a short drive to the Kruger National Park and is an excellent place to stay for those wanting to explore the many attractions of the surrounding area as well as kruger.
