general
This is a very pleasant establishment in a prime location, close to the main places of interest. At this hotel there are also economy rooms, which are not renovated and slightly smaller than the standard rooms; classic rooms which are renovated and equipped with air conditioning, and superior rooms which have been recently renovated and present marble bathrooms. lobby
The lobby, reception and lounge areas are furnished in a traditional style. The area has rugs laid on a marble flooring.
exterior
The exterior of the building is not too dissimilar from most of the other architecture in Venice. The hotel is made up of two parts, one is a four storey red building, the other is a smaller yellow building. There is a garden patio area infront of the red block and the hotel sits on the banks of one of Venice's many canals.
restaurant
The restaurant is split into two sections; one section is the patio garden area, with a big blue awning which is pulled over the entire area when needed. The indoor section is spacious and decorated in white.
rooms
Rooms are medium size. They are in fair condition although decor and furnishings are plain in colour and basic. The bathrooms suites in these rooms are tiled and are in fair condition.
location
The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the Piazza San Marco and also the Teatro Fenice.
