general
The hotel is suitable for those who would like to benefit from the convenient location and who are interested in staying in a design-conscious hotel at a reasonable price. (12/09 HT)
lobby
The contemporary-designed lobby is very small but with some seating areas. It is a cosy space as if it is a home living room, with fresh apples, nice espresso coffee, Internet access through a notebook PC, newspapers and the latest fashion magazines, all at free of charge for guests to enjoy there.
exterior
A modern, 8-storey grey building on the hill of Akasaka.
restaurant
There is an Italian restaurant on the ground floor facing a street. During lunch and dinner times, it provides a variety of pizza baked in the stone oven and other Italian specialties. In the morning, buffet breakfast including a Japanese menu is served. Guests can enjoy meals on the wooden-deck depending on the season and weather.
rooms
All are very small and simple but designed with contemporary decor in the same concept as its public area. Due to the warm colour scheme and the partition partly made of glass between the bedroom and shower room, it looks more spacious than the actual area. Although all the room are without bathtub, its state-of-the art multifunctional shower pampers guests. The writing desk is small but has a modular jack and a cable code for free Internet LAN access. No closet, but there but some dress hangers on the wall. All double rooms are non-smoking.
location
The hotel is located in the heart of Akasaka area, which is one of the major business districts of Tokyo. The hotel is on the hill of Akasaka behind TBS television station and shopping and dinning complex "Akasaka Sacus". The surrounding area is relatively quiet. In addition, by going down from the hill, guests will find plenty choices of restaurants on busy streets by local people. It takes 3 minutes walk from Akasaka station on the subway Chiyoda Line and 15 minutes walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke station on the subway Ginza line and Marunouchi line.
