Located directly across the road from the shore of lake Te Anau. On the corner of Lake Front Drive and Mokoroa Street, the hotel is a 2 hour drive (175 kilometres) from Queenstown and 160 kilometres to Milford Sound. Te Anau is the gateway to New Zealand's Fiordland and starting point for the Milford Track, one of the finest walks in the world.

Lakeview rooms offer attractive views of Lake Te Anau, the South Island's largest lake. Guest rooms are spacious and are well appointed and come equipped with TV, mini bar and tea/coffee makers. Both rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition.
restaurant
The McKinnon restaurant recently refurbished specialises in South Island produce. The cocktail bar and guest lounge overlook the lake.

This is a friendly hotel, in a great location. Its variety of room types set it apart form other accomodaiton options in Te Anau, as does its location, probably the best in town. An excellent place to stay and enjoy the spectacular scenery and activities, from hiking and fishing to scenic boat trips and Glowworm caves. SE0710
