The Luxmore is located in the centre of town and within a short walk of all the shops, restaurants and amenities. Te Anau is the gateway to the "Fiordland" and so is a great place to stay and explore the famous world heritage sites of Milford Sound, Doutbful Sound and the Fiordland national park.
rooms
The standard rooms are either Queen bed or double and single bed, with shower but no bathtub. Facilities include Fridge, TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
restaurant
Hilights is the main restaurant serving breakfast and dinner with great views to the nearby mountain ranges it has a seating capacity of 160 guests. Bailiez cafe and bar is located on ground floor with a street access as well as internal access. It is more informal and serve light meals and drinks.
exterior
A modern low rise concrete and glass building, a new wing has been built in 2007 adding an extra 92 new rooms. Large windows make the most of the great scenery.
lobby
The lobby has been rebuilt in 2006 providing a much larger area with attractive and comfortable seating.
general
This is a great place to stay for those looking to explore the rugged wilderness of the Fiordlands area. The staff of the hotel have long experience in assisting guests on the numerous activities that are available in the area. The hotel is very popular with tour groups and individuals. SE0908
