This is without any doubt the most elegant, traditional and emblematic hotel in Santander situated in the most privileged area of the city. Gardens, terraces and guest rooms overlook the bay, the Magdalena beach and a beautiful mountain landscape. It is 12 kilometres from the airport and close to the very well known Pedrena golf course and only a short walk downhill to the famous Sardinero beach, Congress hall, restaurants and bars.

All rooms are fully equipped and have a special charm around them since this is the smartest hotel in the area due to its tradition,history and style. Rooms are spacious decorated in a very classic elegant style and furnished in most cases with ancient nice dark carved wood pieces and walls decorated with pastel colours.

The restaurant faces a terrace and will serve high quality regional and international cuisine. The atmosphere is very select and the quality provided is high and very much cared for as well as service. Guests can also enjoy a drink at the "scotch bar". Its meeting rooms can be set up for conventions, weddings, cocktail parties which can also take place in the garden is requested.

This is a traditional land mark hotel building in white featuring the typical Victorian style construction details of the beginnings of 19th century constructions.

The marvellous and long corridor to the lobby is fully furnished with settees, tables, desks and chairs and beautifully decorated in an English style with pastel colours. The lobby is accessed through the grand main staircase entrance which is covered by a red carpet on the wooden floors.

The hotel has its own private car park for its guests as well as a very exclusive thalassotherapy centre just next door to the main entrance which offers a wide range of treatments based on sea water properties.
