restaurantKedar has two good restaurants as well as the outdoor Boma dining area which can accommodate as many as 300 people. There is also the Metswedi Bar, which means drinnking giraffe. One of the restaurants specialises in South African and Afrikaans cuisine and there is also a menu with international dishes. There is a very extensive wine menu.
generalKedar has an attractive outdoor pool with sunbathing area as well as a terrace where guests can enjoy a drink. The hotel has an excellent spa that juts over the wetlands and offers a wide range of treatments. This historic farm hotel covers over 700 acres has been game fenced and populated with a wide variety of game. Seemingly a national park in itself Kedar is a fantastic place to get away from it all and to use as a base for exploing the excellent surrounding attractions. There are good conference facilities at the hotel as well as free parking. (AHJ 0408)
exteriorLodge style accommodation spread out over several acres of land. Each building is descreatly hidden away with the many trees in the grounds.
roomsThe Deluxe rooms are built in village style, amid water features and authentic African artworks. Each room is equipped with satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms consist of a bedroom area with an en-suite bathroom (bath and shower), and a small working/dressing area.
locationSituated just outside Rustenberg amongst the mountains and only 15 minutes from popular Sun City and Pilansberg Mational Park, Kedar Country is only one and a half hours drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria.
