The location is excellent and the atmosphere is warm and friendly, the staff is extremely helpful and professional. 1108SR
lobby
The lobby is medium in size, but very warm and stylish decorated with a spacious welcome-seating area, wooden floors and carpets. The colours are bright and warm.
exterior
The building is a historic, typical Hansetown house with a tradition of 200 years as a hotel. On top of the front side there is a golden sculpture which symbolizes the sun and gives the hotel its name.
restaurant
The restaurant on the ground floor offers traditional regional cuisine. Additionally the cafe has a huge selection of wines from all over the world also offering excellent cuisine. Adjacent to the lobby on the ground floor there is the "Havana Bar" with Caribbean flair.
rooms
The rooms are medium in size and decorated to a high standard with typical north German decoration which is common along the sea. The furniture and the beds are of high quality and the standard of the bathrooms and the bathroom equipment is very high.
location
The hotel is located right in the centre opposite the gothic-baroque town-hall and all shopping and restaurant facilities.
