locationThe hotel is situated directly on Ipanema beachfront in a very good location. It is just a short walk away from the main areas of bars and restaurants and local transport to almost all areas of the city can be taken from directly outside the hotel.
roomsThe rooms are in good condition and medium in size. There are carpeted floors and traditional furnishings throughout with hanging chandeliers and a paiting in each room to add to the decor. Many of the rooms have sea-views.
restaurantThe hotel is modern and bright and serves a high standard of international cuisine. It overlooks the ocean through a large glass facade.
exteriorThe architecture of the hotel is that typical of Rio beachfront hotels.
lobbyThe lobby is medium in size and modern. It is bright and airy with a large glass facade facing the ocean and has a white marble and dark wood reception area.
generalThis is a very good hotel for its category with all the services expected such as a large traditional bar area on the ground floor, meeting rooms, a business centre a small rooftop pool. (08/06 RC)
