locationThis hotel is located just a five minute drive for the city centre (or approx 20 minute walk) and also next to the Reykjavik city airport, which services domestic flights.
roomsThe unique poet rooms have a historic design and make you feel like you stepped back 50 years in time. Each is dedicated to one of Iceland?s most beloved poets and has some of their work, biography and pictures on display. The Poet rooms offer all the amenities you would expect. You also get access to the lounge on 4th floor, free pay TV, free internet access and free access to Soley Natura Spa which offers indoor thermal pool, saunas and hot tub.
restaurantSporting a fresh and spacious look, the in-house restaurant "SATT" is located on the first floor. SATT offers a variety of dishes made with fresh and organic ingredients, local flavours and warm, thoughtful service. The dining room is warm and inviting, with wood furniture that has been designed and produced in Iceland.
exteriorA low rise purpose-built building, the hotel is a mixture of grey, yellow and white painted brickwork.
lobbyThe lobby is of medium size, although adjacent to the reception there is a spacious seating area. The large reception sits opposite a small gift shop. The indoor pool, sauna and hot pot and located on the lower lobby level and entrance is included in the room rates.
generalThe property is a good quality hotel and within easy reach of the sights of Reykjavik. It is also the first stop for the airport bus "Flybus" and well-located for those wishing to explore other areas outside Reykjavik.
