There are 143 (authentically renovated) guest rooms. Hand-crafted replicas of Alex Johnson's original furnishings feature carefully chosen Lakota Sioux themes.

Landmark Restaurant featuring a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections. Special options include buffalo, pheasant, and the finest aged signature beef in the area. There is an Irish pub and a lounge on the property.

Historic building, the Hotel Alex Johnson is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
lobby
The lobby is decorated with Native American symbols. There is a massive fireplace, with bison heads mounted on the sides and a unique chandelier of wood, copper and glazed tile and suspended with chains, that is formed of war lances. Behind the front desk, the original hardwood keybox is still used.
