The only chateau-hotel in Paris has just undergone a full 2-year renovation. Bambi Sloan, a designer like no other, has invented the ?crazy chic? style and transformed the Saint James into an eccentric family townhouse. Relais & Chateaux has chosen the Saint James as its new Paris flagship starting 2012.

The lobby totally refurbished is large and noble, with adjoining seating areas.
exterior
This is a highly refined neo-classical chateau with its own private garden, in a magnificent setting.
restaurant
The restaurant serves gourmet French cuisine. It is a spacious room, on the ground floor, with patio windows giving access to the garden terrace, where one can dine during the summer months. There is also a library bar possessing 12,000 bound books, where on Fridays guests can enjoy jazz music.
rooms
Each of the 48 rooms & suites is unique and a tribute to famours characters or artists, such as My Fair Lady, Rene Magritte, Sissi or Madeleine Castaing. The rooms and suites are large, quiet, and luminous and look either onto the fountain or the garden.
location
The hotel is situated in the tranquility of the exclusive western part of Paris, close to the Bois de Bolougne and walking distance from the Arc de Triomphe.
