generalThe resort has two heated pools and one kiddie pool, an arcade and playground and offers transportation to all Disney Theme parks. lobbyThe lobby is large and filled with cartoon like sport icons which gives it the Disney family atmosphere. The food court is off the lobby.
exteriorThe resort is modern and is made up of five theme areas- football, baseball, basketball, tennis and surfing. There are brightly colored, larger- than-life decorative football helmets, surfboards and baseball bats throughout the grounds. Stairwells in the shape of three-story high soda cups, lifeguard shacks and tennis ball cans lead guest to the second and third floors.
restaurantThe food court serves pizza, pasta, deli sandwiches, salads, hamburgers, chicken, ribs and other family-style meals.
roomsRooms are medium in size (260 square feet) decorated with children in mind in a colorful sports theme style. Stay in spacious accommodations with two double beds or one king-sized bed, an in-room safe, a table with chairs, a vanity area with sink and a separate bathroom. Preferred rooms are closer to pool and main lobby than Standard room
locationThe resort is located at Walt Disney World, but also convenient to all the other Orlando parks. It is a short drive to all the shopping areas and 25 minutes from Orlando's airport by car. Preferred rooms (PREF) are closer to the public areas such as pools, restaurants, etc.
