locationThe hotel is centrally located on Walt Disney's property near Magic Kingdom and all the other Walt Disney's Theme parks and the Downtown Disney area. Being in the Lake Buena Vista area of Orlando the hotel is convenient to all the other attractions, theme parks, restaurants and shopping malls that Orlando has to offer.
roomsThe rooms are large with modern furnishings and are decorated in earth tone colors. The bathrooms are large and feature a separate room for the commode. Rooms feature two queen beds or one king bed with a day bed, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board.
generalThe Magic Kingdom is a short distance away on the Disney Monorail, which departs from the Contemporary Resort's fourth floor concourse. In addition to easy access to the theme parks, the hotel offers water craft rentals, an Olympiad fitness center, tennis courts, large pool with a fun slide, a quiet pool, beach volleyball and many other amenities. lobbyThe lobby is large and very modern. It features a huge glass atrium that has openings at both ends to allow Disney's monorail access to the lobby monorail station. The lobby also features dramatic artwork throughout.
exteriorA complex of three modern buildings, the largest of which is a 15-story A-frame tower that incorporates a huge glass atrium that is designed to let the Walt Disney's sleek monorail pass through the resort's fourth floor concourse. The other two buildings are known as the Garden wings of the hotel and are more of a casual style.
restaurantDining options include the award-winning California Grill, serving seasonal entrees; dine with your favorite characters at Chef Mickey's Restaurant; the Concourse Steakhouse, set in a 90-foot-high atrium with views of the Monorail; and the Food and Fun Center, a spot for hot and cold sandwiches. Cocktails and appetizers are available at the Outer Rim.
