Only hotel on Stradbroke Island, a wonderful place to get away from it all. Amazing array of activities including running track (opened by Carl Lewis), surf beach, adventure playground, trampolines, bowling green, high ropes course, fishing, bike hire, rock-climbing, astronomy, guided rainforest walks, kayaking and day spa (to name just a few!) are available. Ferry bookings are essential and must be confirmed no later than 24 hours prior to arrival (Charges apply: FROM 01 APRIL 2009 Ferry Charges (unless included) - $49 per adult return 15+years, $27 Children return 3- 14 years, infants travel FREE). Overlooks the Marina with a walkway up from the wharf. Room check-in and check out is done on the mainland before the ferry trip.

Low-rise eco-friendly buildings, with a lot of open space and accommodation spread throughout the large area of the resort. Swimming pool, marina, lagoons, rainforest, beach, gardens and sporting facilities create a diverse landscape for this beautiful retreat.

There are various food outlets scattered throughout the Resort. The Boardwalk Bar and Cafe has light meals and snacks through out the day. The Pool side Cafe at Spa Island offers yummy buffet breakfast and delicious wood fire pizzas for lunch and dinner. The 'Restaurant' offers superb fine dining in the evening with an award winning a la carte menu and an excellent wine list. The Surf Club is located on a private beach and serves fresh seafood for lunch and dinner in a relaxed, coastal atmosphere.

The Marina Deluxe rooms are very spacious with large enclosed balconies offering picturesque views over the marina or Spa Island lagoon. Furnishings are elegant and tasteful with everything done to the highest standard. There is extensive use of timber and natural fibres. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms are in exceptional condition. All bathrooms are marble and have separate shower and full sized spa bath.
