Thirty-three story, 1930's landmark has been transformed into an intimate hotel with a residential feel, with French limestone walls, inlaid onyx floors, antique chandeliers, and a notable art collection.
restaurant
Located on the ground floor, there is a intimate 70-seat restaurant serving breakfast, dinner and Sunday brunch, and is decorated with light sycamore walls, contemporary art and sculpture, and soft leather-and-silk banquettes in mint-and-celadon tones. The Star Lounge serves Continental breakfast, and features the Ritz Carlton's legendary afternoon tea service. An American bistro-style lunch is served, as well as light fare and cocktails throughout the day.

The guest rooms are with traditional furnishings, brocade draperies, and richly patterned carpets. Decorated in subtle tones of green/gray, taupe, and rose, all rooms feature premium designer linens, featherbeds, down duvets, and pillow menus. Roomy marble bathrooms have over-sized tubs.
