The friendly Pennsylvania hotel is located in the lower part of New York's midtown area, facing Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. It is only 3 blocks from the magnificent Empire State Building, the Fashion District, Macy's department store and the Theatre District.

The hotel's rooms vary in size; 80% are medium and 20% are large. Some rooms have been renovated in modern, simple style with light green/neutral colors. However, many rooms are very basic and would benefit from redecoration. Some floors are in better shape than others.

There are two restaurants at the hotel.

This landmark hotel was built in 1919 and is one of New York City's largest hotels. The style of the building is typical of the architecture during this time.
lobby
The lobby is extremely large and bustling with international activity. It has recently undergone renovation and has been restored to its former traditional style. The ceilings are very high, and this area has been split into 2 levels. The lobby also has a shop and restaurant.
