Matsumoto Castle (Matsumoto-jo) is one of the most complete and beautiful among Japan's original castles. The castle is a 5-minute bus ride or 10-15 minute walk from the JR Matsumoto Station. The city is also a good base for trips into the Japanese Alps. Self service laundry machine is available for the staying guests. (0905 HT)
