lobbyThe lobby is of medium size where all tours can be booked from - or from their separate tour office either. Extremely helpful and friendly staff in this resort will spend time with you and advise you of the best way to spend your time in this wonderful place you will never want to leave.
exteriorThe accommodation exterior is Low rise with balcony or patio. This resort is quite spread out with plenty of activities from fully stocked grocery store, internet cafes, outdoor eating areas, there is a natural outdoor hot tub which is extremely relaxing and an outdoor swimming pool to cool down in afterwards
restaurantBough Shed restaurant overlooks Dolphin Beach, and opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An fantastic menu with daily specials of freshly caught fish is highly recommended with a great selection of Australian wine. The New Monkey Bar Beer Garden is a good alternative to more casual dining with extremely reasonable priced items (hot and cold) and also overlooks the beach. There is occasional live entertainment in the bar during high season. There are also 2 fully stocked kitchens that guest can cook for themselves in the kitchens or indeed at any of the BBQ stations throughout the resort.
roomsBeach front and Garden Villas plus motel style Beach side Dolphin Units only metres from the beach. Beach front and Garden Villas are comfortable, air conditioned units, with sink, fridge, kettle, crockery & cutlery. There are no cooking facilities these Villas have BBQ's on their verandahs and there are also gas BBQs throughout the grounds of the Resort. Beach side Dolphin Units are motel style with king bed and ensuite bathroom.
locationThe resort is located in the heart of Shark Bay World Heritage region of Western Australia, 27 km from Denham, overlooking the famous Dolphin Beach. Because. As the Resort is located within a Reserve guests have to pay entrance fees on arrival to CALM for the continual protection, welfare and research into the wildlife and dolphins. Spectacular contrast of sky, crystal clear water, white sand beaches and dark red hinterland. The Bottle Nosed Dolphins have been coming into the beach on average 3 times a day to feed and interact with humans - have been doing so for the past 40 years. The chance of interaction with the dolphins is very good, however as the dolphins are wild obviously no guarantees can me made.
