Hotel opened early 2002 so relatively brand new. Excellent value for money for those not needing things like room service and restaurant and hotel does not provide porterage. SS1108

Medium-sized lobby, bright and airy.

A modern, box-like 11-storey building.

Guest Lounge serves breakfast daily as there is no restaurant as such. There are however vending machines with snacks, drinks, and personal items. There are many restaurants in the area to choose from.
rooms
Rooms are medium in size with healthcare beds, hypo-allergenic pillows and 100% Australian Merino wool blankets. There is a work table in all rooms with PC Data plug as well as a microwave and tea/coffee makers. All rooms have shower only.
location
Located on Melbourne's trendy Southbank, close to MCG, Crown Entertainment Complex, Melbourne Convention Centre, and within walking distance to a variety of world class restaurants, shops, and galleries. Royal Botanic Gardens, Albert Park (where the F1 Grand Prix is held each year) and Queen Victoria Markets are all nearby and easily accessed.
