locationThe hotel is located in Didsbury which is just under 10 kms from Manchester City and 9 kms to Manchester Airport. It is within walking distance of the cosmopolitan suburb of Didsbury and multi complex of Parrs Wood entertainment centre. There are frequent busses that pass from near the hotel direct to the city centre, alternatively a taxi costs aprox GBP12.00.
roomsAll rooms are ensuite and in good condition. All have facilities you would expect from a 3 star hotel including colour television, hair dryer, tea/ coffee making facilities. Some rooms have iron and ironing board which can otherwise be delivered by room service.
restaurantThere is a lovely Brasserie style restaurant serving local homegrown produce and also a more casual menu available all day in the hotel bar.
exteriorSet in groomed gardens and grounds and built to a superb open plan modern design.
lobbyThere is a medium to large sized lobby in which you can see the swimming pool from. A selection of snacks and tea/coffee are served throughout the day.
generalThis hotel has extensive leisure facilities including a 25m heated ozone treated indoor pool and two Pool side Jacuzzi's. There is a relaxation lounge with two saunas, two steam rooms and Japanese bath, Children's swimming lessons are available with designated splash times and a dedicated swimmer lane. This is a great hotel with comfortable facilities, and is a good location for a business or pleasure break. (GW 08/2008)
