Originally built as a watermill in 1840 , on the banks of river Isis; it was transported in 1972 to its present site, re-assembled stone by stone.

The restaurant is opens 7 days a week 7.00am to 9.30am for breakfast only and closed for lunch and evening meals.

Recently refurbished Motel style rooms of medium size with tea/coffee makers, fridge, electric blankets, heating. Bathrooms are of small size with showers only. Rooms have a very nice contemporary feel and nicely appointed.

Nice boutique style property located 5 minute walk to the city centre and 20 minutes drive to Launceston airport. Short drive to city park, boutiques and cafes, Roman baths, Victorian and Georgian streetscapes. Please note the Penny Royal attractions are closed for maintenance until further notice.
