generalThis is a top quality property, a haven of peace and relaxation in a friendly atmosphere. The natural setting, variety of activities and proximity to Loutraki, Corinth and Athens makes Poseidon resort the obvious choice for those who are looking for an island resort style property within easy driving distance to the sights of the capital and other nearby places of interest (EP 09/09)
lobbyThe reception area is average sized but adequate, with a comfortable sitting room and short-term parking space outside. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and can speak many languages. A club electric car will transfer guests and luggage to their accommodation free of charge upon request.
exteriorThe core of bungalows and buildings were built during the 60's and 70's in contemporary summer style. There have been further additions and expansions through the years until the most recent renovation in spring 2006. The Esperides area however is brand new, finished in 2009. All buildings and public areas are well kept and tidy. There are 2 outdoor and one indoor heated swimming pool, conference facilities and even a 900 seat theater, where receptions, concerts and movie nights can be held.
restaurantThe resort boasts 5 restaurants to cater for every taste and occasion: the spacious Amphitryon restaurant (which is also the breakfast room), the seaside Poseidon grill, the traditional taverna Triaena , the Nafsika dancing restaurant and the exclusive and intimate Neptune. The Apollo bar serves drinks, refreshments and snacks for the guests.
roomsThe Esperides Villas are a brand new room type in the hotel. Luxuriously appointed and furnished, with majestic views of the Gulf of Corinth the villas are the very highest in quality and prestige at Poseidon Resort. All villas have 37sqm living space plus a large terrace with sunbeds.
locationPoseidon Resort is located just outside Loutraki, a cosmopolitan and vibrant seaside town 13km from historical Corinth and one hour's drive from central Athens. Hidden inside 150 hectares of gardens and pine trees, the resort resembles a small village on a hill with neat rows of bungalows connected by paths that descend to a private pebbly cove.
