The hotel is situated in the centre of Lincoln, opposite the cathedral. It is also within easy reach of the Castle, ellis' Mill and usher gallery. It's grounds contain a section of roman wall and other remains of roman eastgate.

The 72 bedrooms are all very similar and are a very good standard. All rooms have a mini bar, hairdryer and trouser press.

The hotel has a Spacious restaurant which has unrivalled views of the cathedral.

This is a very modern building.

The lobby of the hotel is quite large and informal, with lots of seating and chairs.
