The Plaza is a very well-maintained first class product and i would recommend it as the best property in Karlstad.
lobby
The reception Area is small and decorated elegantly, with a marble floor and dark pine furnishings. This is connected on one side to a very popular bar and through a corridor to an impressive atrium Area.
exterior
The hotel is quite non-descript from the outside, constructed in a standard brick/concrete modern style.
restaurant
Breakfast is taken in the atrium bar Area, which is decorated in an outdoor garden style. The dinner restaurant, vivaldi, in the basement offers a wide range of international cuisine, and is a more intimate, softly-lit dining Area. The dinner restaurant is closed on Sundays.
rooms
Have all been renovated over the last year. They Are of medium size, although there Are large business rooms and all Are in very good condition. Decor is elegant, with soft colours predominant. Incidentally, rooms Are well sound-proofed from the lively atrium Area below. Bathrooms Are also in very good condition.
location
The Plaza is a modern purpose built hotel which enjoys a central location in Karlstad close to the main shopping streets.
