This is an excellent hotel and the perfect place to explore Knysna and the Garden Route from. It is child friendly with plenty of garden space and a very beautiful outdoor pool with a shallow end for kids. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool and meals and drinks can be ordered pool side. The hotel also has conference facilities. The Moorings offer facilities such as laundry, room service, Internet access, business centre services and 24 hour reception.

The hotel entrance is big with the lobby spilling over towards the restaurant and pool and bar area. The reception is on the right and behind this is a lounge with book cases and comfortable leather chairs.

These are modern stylish villas just 2 levels and surrounded by landscaped gardens.
restaurant
The Salmon Restaurant is modern and stylish and has seating both indoor and outdoor by the swimming pool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served here and there is a good a la carte menu and a good menu for children too.
rooms
These modern attractive villas have two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Both bedrooms are en-suite, one with bath and shower and one with shower. On the ground floor there is an open plan living and dining room with dining table and a sofa positioned in front of a large flat screen TV. The kitchen is excellent and fully fitted with good quality kitchen appliances and everything you could possibly need when cooking. These stylish villas overlook Knysna lagoon and have gas BBQ's at the back of the house on the small terraces. Each villa has a covered parking space at the front of the villa.
location
The hotel is situated on the secluded banks of the Knysna Lagoon off the road towards the popular Knysna Heads. It is a 3 minute drive from Knysna Quays.
