restaurantCarmichaels Restaurant (air conditioned) serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast and group lunches as required. There is a bar for pre dinner drinks. Note: Carmichaels Restaurant is currently closed for dinner until further notice. The Cafe serves light meals and snacks from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. The Outback Barbecue and Grill offers a true Australian Outback experience for dinner (6-9pm) in a verandah style setting and the Desert Oak Cafe offers meals in a relax outback surrounding.
For people travelling in pairs, "Sounds of Firelight" is a fantastic exclusive option. Table for two set around a fire under the stars. A superb four course set menu is served accompanied by some of Australia's finest wines. Something very special. Closed November-March due to very hot weather.

locationLocated in the Watarrka National Park in Kings Canyon, central Australia. 3 1/2 hours drive from Ayers Rock and 4 hours from Alice Springs. Worth the trip for magnificent scenery and the best way of seeing it is walking around. There is a short 1 hour Creek walk (2.6 kms) or a longer 3/3.5 hours Rim walk (6 kms) offering fantastic views of the Canyon.
