The Protea Midrand is situated in a beautifully landscaped garden setting, halfway between the dynamic, bustling cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria which is just 20 kms away. sandton is just a 15 minute drive away. The hotel provides excellent access not only to the surrounding business districts, but also to leisure attractions throughout the Johannesburg region.

These carpeted rooms are medium sized and offer en-suite bathroom, Executive workdesk and chair, modem and computer plug points, wireless internet access, individually controlled air conditioning, electronic safe large enough to store a laptop, remote controlled satellite TV, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer and mini fridge . A mini-bar can be stocked on request. All rooms are soundproofed, have double Glazed windows and have blackout curtains to ensure a good nights rest.
restaurant
The Palm Terrace restaurant offers a great culinary experience and is popular with both guests and locals. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and guests can sit at the carefully set tables both indoors and outdoors where the tables overlook the garden and central water feature. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served here.

The lobby is medium sized, with the cherry wood reception desk to the right and a seating area for guests in the centre of the room. A combination of Italian granite, wood finishes and lofty glass-and-wood-rafted ceiling make this a welcoming lobby.

A good 4* hotel with excellent links to Sandton centre and the airport. The hotel also offers good conferencing facilities, a well equiped gym, a health spa and an outdoor pool with sun loungers. (AHJ0509)
