generalExcellent superior first class hotel with a great location on the river and in the hub of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race (race commences 26 December every year). Hotel offers a fully equipped gymnasium, heated indoor swimming pool. There are also excellent conference facilities. One of the best deluxe hotel in town. SS0808
restaurantThe large restaurant is on lobby level. It is open for breakfast and dinner daily. It offer a large selection of fresh Tasmanian produce. There is a nice bar/atrium in the large hotel lobby, the perfect place to have a coffee or a drink overlooking the waterfront.
roomsRooms are of a large in size with all modern conveniences including tea/coffee making facilities and iron/ironing board. Can accommodate two adults and two children (up to 12 years) using existing bedding without any charge for children (maximum two children). Rooms overlook Hobart CBD and / or Mt. Wellington.
locationLocated on the waterfront in Hobart, a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Great location, very easy walk along the foreshores of the Harbour. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, which is close to Salamanca Markets (about 10 minute walk from the hotel). Next to the hotel are the Federation Concert Hall and Ballroom, the home of the Tasmania Symphony Orchestra. One of the best hotel in Hobart. Hobart airport is approximately 20/25 minutes from the city.
