This hotel is highly recommended for its location opposite the Museum. This is a superb option for the traveller who wants to stay in the lively centre, explore Hamburg and have all major attractions within walking distance. The very friendly staff are always happy to give you a helping hand. 1007 hm

The lobby is small and plain, with a beige reception desk and a small seating area.
exterior
This is a belle epoque style building, in white stone and painted in white, looking quite grand.

The hotel has a friendly decorated breakfast room on the first floor, with a cosy private atmosphere overlooking the square opposite the museums.
rooms
The traditional building is a famous historic listed building from 1885, in a prime location in the centre of Hamburg. The soundproofed bedrooms vary a lot in shape and size, though on average they are still large. They are decorated to a high standard in pale blue, with modern furniture and fittings. They are in good condition. The bathrooms are small to medium in size and in very fair condition. Both rooms and bathrooms are very clean.
location
The hotel is centrally located, just around the corner from the main train station. This is a very lively area, right in the centre of Hamburg, very close to the museums and the famous Kunsthalle. It is only five minutes walk to the city lakes.
