The only large hotel in town, yet in true swiss chalet style it really feels much more cosy and traditional than its size would imply.

The large traditional style lobby incorporates a spacious lounge with an open fireplace that evokes a homely atmosphere.
exterior
The hotel consists of two very different types of buildings; one resembles a chalet and is very attractive with wooden balconies and the other is a modern styled building.
restaurant
The hotel restaurants offer a wide variety of international and local dishes at very reasonable prices.
rooms
Most of the medium to large rooms have a balcony and have been decorated in a typical Swiss style using a lot of pine furniture and wooden beams. The rooms are in good condition as are the bathrooms. The rooms face the town of Grindelwald and although there is no Eiger view, they do offer Mountain views of the surrounding peaks.
location
This hotel is the largest in the area and is situated in the centre of Grindelwald within easy walking distance of the railway station and all other amenities. It overlooks the valley and is set in very peaceful surroundings.
