This hotel is located in the centre of Grindelwald just at the entrance to the village with imposing views of the surrounding mountains and the Eiger.
rooms
The rooms are large and in exceptional condition. They are decorated in contemporary style with warm colour schemes and high quality wooden furniture. The sizeable bathrooms are also in exceptional condition.
restaurant
The non-smoking restaurant is also decorated in modern style and has an excellent reputation.
exterior
This is a modern hotel and, though attractive, is not typical of the local architecture.
lobby
The lobby is large and modern.
general
This is arguably the best hotel in Grindelwald and comes highly recommended for the discerning individual traveller for whom high quality and excellent service is more important than rustic charm. 0708SR
