Edgecliff is a suburb just east of Sydney's CBD, about 15-20 minutes' walk or 5 minutes by bus or train. The hotel is located on the New South Head Road. It is a 2-minute walk from Edgecliff train station and Edgecliff shopping centre, a 10-minute walk to Rushcutters Bay park, CYC yacht club and Double Bay. It is two train stops away from the city centre, and only one stop to Bondi Junction and Kings Cross.

Rooms are small, with shower only, and have a hair dryer. Amenities include TV, air conditioning, iron and ironing board. They are kept clean.

There is no restaurant, but there is a small breakfast room. There are many restaurants and cafes not far from the hotel.
