The hotel is located near Dali Old Town, only about 800 meters away from the South Gate of the Ancient Dali Kingdom. The famous Three Pagodas and the Guan Yin Temple (The Temple of Goddes of Mercy) are within walking distance, against Mount Cangshan and overlooking the Lake Er Hai.

The guest rooms are large in size on average and in very good conditions. Rooms are either facing the lake or the hill side, furnished in classical Chinese style.

Hotel restaurants provide varieties of Chinese delicacies as well as western food.

It is a modern building with unique landscape design, unrivalled amongst hotels in Yunnan Province.
lobby
The six-storeyed atrium lobby features a crystal like glass ceiling and captures the local ethnic characteristics. The walls are adorned with Dali woodcarvings and a large oil painting of Guan Yin Buddha' (the Goddess of Mercy). The corridors are lit in such a way as to represent the stars of the Milky Way.
