The hotel is located outside the city centre in the hub of this magnificent city on Al Umawiyeen Square in the north-west of the city. It is 1.5 kilometres from the national museum and 2.5 kilometres from the old city. However, it is well-served by transport links.

The rooms are large, extremely modern and well-equipped. Bathrooms are large and clean, with both bath and shower. There is a variety of restaurants, indoors and outdoors with particular emphasis on Syrian and Middle Eastern cuisine.

The exterior is modern and attractive in design featuring some details of the traditional architecture. The main facade is especially nice when lit at night.
