This is a heritage listed building, originally constructed in 1885. The building was restored in 1997 with the addition of modern rooms, while retaining the colonial charm.

There is no restaurant on the premises, but an Irish pub across the road provides economical meals, plus there are many cafes in the area.

Rooms are small with basic furnishings. They do not have private bathroom facilities but shared showers and toilets are usually located on the same floor.
