Area is small, but quite bright, thanks to the full length windows. The reception desk is situated at the far end of the lobby, past the small seating area.
exterior
The building is a light sandy coloured modern block with an attractive covered entrance hall.
restaurant
Bright and modern with house plants and attractive lampstands.
rooms
The medium sized rooms are nicely furnished with light coloured wood and attractive pastel coloured matching curtains and bedspreads. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.
location
Very close to the old Cologne wall and the shopping mall and easy walking distance to the railway station and the Cathedral. To walk to the fair ground it takes about twenty minutes. Alternatively the tram/underground station "Friesenplatz" is 200 metres from the hotel and the line "Five" goes to the main train station where clients can change for one stop to another line or just walk accross the bridge crossing the river Rhine to the fair ground on the other side.
