The hotel is located at Shamian where used to be a foreign consulate area of Guangzhou in the 1910's. Around the area, there are many small street cafes, simple restaurants and gift shops. The locals' famous Qingping Market is also not far from the hotel where a wide variety of wildlife, Chinese herbal medicine and souvenir can be found.
