The property is located in Burnie (Somerset), off the Bass highway about two hour`s drive north-west of Launceston. Only 50 metres inland from Bass Strait, Burnie offers a 2 km long stretch of sandy beach. Lactos award winning cheese factory 10 minutes away. Taxi from Burnie to the property costs around $15-$20. Taxi from the airport at Wynyard costs around $30. Hire cars are available from the airport.

Rooms and bathrooms are medium in size and in good condition. In-house videos are accessible from some rooms. All rooms have television, are heated and also have electric blankets for the colder months.
