location
The Unio Hotel has an excellent location, just off the popular Erszebet Street and close to Listz Ferenc which has some of the citys best restaurants and bars in a lovely pedestrian part of town. It is also just a 15 minute walk from either the River Danube or Hero's Square.
rooms
The rooms are of a very good 3* standard. All are spacious, with high ceilings, hard wood floor, and nice wood furniture throughout. All are en-suite and have air/con, TV, telephone, mini-bar and en-suite bathrooms.
restaurant
The restaurant is immediately on your left as you enter the lobby and it is a pleasant room with many of the hotels original features. Breakfast is served here and local and international meals can also be ordered for lunch and dinner.
exterior
A historical building that is 5 stories tall and painted yellow. Typical of the period buildings in the surrounding area.
lobby
A very small and cosy lobby. The small reception desk is on your immediate right as you enter and there is a pleasant little seating area around the corner with sofas for guests.
general
A really nice 3* hotel in a great part of the city. Ideal for anyone wanting to be in the heart of the city and in a comfortable budget hotel. The rooms are very pleasant and staff are friendly. The hotel also has conference rooms. (AHJ 0708)
