The privilege rooms at the Mercure Korona are ideal for leisure or business travelers wanting an upgarded room with special features like the LCD TV, private breakfast lounge and and free internet connection. The hotel itself is in a good location and is of an excellent standard with a friendly atmosphere. Perfect for guests wanting to be in the heart of the city and close to the river Danube. It is also good for business travelers as all rooms have wireless connection. (AHJ 0108)
lobby
The lobby is large in size, with foreign exchange facility and lots of seating for guests. Glass walled lifts are visible in the middle of the lobby area and their is a cafe to the right hand side of the wide reception desk.
exterior
This is a modern pink and green building with a glass walkway over the road connecting the two wings of the hotel.
restaurant
There is a coffee shop area on the walkway connecting the two parts of the hotel and two restaurants located on the first floor. One is exclusively for individual travellers and the other for groups. There is also a very nice cafe in the entrance lobby of the hotel.
rooms
The Privilege rooms are medium in size and of a very good 4* standard. They are pleasantly furnished, modern and bright with en-suite bathrooms. Privilege rooms have air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, satellite TV, safes big enough to store laptops and free high seppe internet connection. there is a fast check out service for Privilege guests as well as a upgraded breakfast served in a Privilege lounge.
location
The hotel is located on the Pest side near to the shopping area. It is in an excellent location within walking distance of the commercial district, the river Danube and the National Museum which is just accross the road from the hotel.
