A unique piece of Manuelino architecture, located amidst 250 acres of fine woodland that was originally planted by the carmelitas monks with giant trees and rare flora from all over the world.

They are simply incredible with fine carpets and furnishings enough to be museum pieces with fine lacquered whites with gold trimmings and matching bedside cabinets, gold chandelliers hang proudly from the ceiling. All the bedrooms have a different decor.

It is another feature of this incredible property. Decorated with the finest furnishings, parquet flooring, ornate carved wood window frames under arches.
exterior
The outer facacde of this incredible palace is made of fine limestone and rock. The limestone is masterfully carved and shaped with the most intriguing designs such as the dragon faces and spiral columns.
lobby
It is a masterpiece with fine carved limestone adorning the walls, together with fine blue ceramis tiles along the stairway wall creating a whole mural theme of dom Joao III in battle.
