This hotel is located right in the centre of Berne between the Kaefigturn and Waisenhausplatz.
rooms
The rooms are mainly small to medium in size (they vary quite considerably) and are in good condition, with simply designed modern furniture and decor. The bathrooms are in fair condition.
restaurant
Guests who book on a half-board basis eat at a sister hotel, the Kreuz, located just over the road. Otherwise breakfast is taken in the Metropole's simple breakfast room.
exterior
The exterior of the building is elegant and traditional and blends in very well with the beautiful Bernese old town surrounding it.
lobby
The hotel lobby is small. A lot of wood has been used in its decor, making it very appealing to the eye.
