locationLocated on a hill, overlooking the city, yet an easy 10 minute walk from the heart of Brisbane. Beautiful gardens just up the road from the hotel offer an ideal setting for a leisurely stroll.
roomsRooms are spacious, but basic. Rooms and bathrooms are dated but are clean and the beds are comfortable. It has everything you expect from a 3 1/2 star hotel.
restaurantBrasserie which is located to the left side of the lobby has a small bar, which overlooks the street. Semi-al fresco dining is available. Please note, from June 2007 the restaurant is not open for lunch.
exteriorA 10-storey, 70s-style building.

generalGood budget hotel in a reasonable location. Hotel will become the Urban in mid 2008. Please note, the hotel is undergoing renovations until May 2008, including accommodation refurbishment on a floor by floor basis. All beds, bedding, carpets, curtains, furnishings and bathrooms will be completely replaced. Refurbishment will be conducted on a floor by floor basis, with full floors being off limits whilst being refurbished. Construction and building work will take place between 9am-4pm Monday to Friday. Hotel lobby, restaurant, bar and hotel exterior work commences early April 2008 and will include total refurbishment of the guest lobby area, restaurant, bar and hotel exterior.
