The rooms all vary in size and design, as one would expect in an old Victorian building. Each room has all the conveniences one expects in a three-star hotel such as tea/coffee making facilities, trouser press, etc. The rooms and the bathrooms are in a fair condition but typical of Hagley Road hotels.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving a wide range of foods.
exterior
A modern, red bricked building, with limited parking available.
lobby
The lobby is rather small in size, although welcoming and friendly.
general
A good-value hotel, well located hotel offering all the facilities one would expect from a city centre three-star. The decor is dated but the hotel is currently undergoing renovation to lift the standard of the hotel into 4-star status. (02/08 KB)

The hotel is located on Hagley Road, one of the main roads in Birmingham centre running up towards Edgbaston. Hagley Road is part of the re-developed area of Birmingham and is buzzing with new bars and restaurants.
