generalThe hotel is suitable for guests touring Scotland, looking to visit both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Although Bathgate has its own railway station with a direct link to Edinburgh, the hotel is most suited to those with their own transport. (KB 04/08)
lobbyThe reception is fairly small, yet functional and leads through to a larger lobby area with comfortable seating. The restaurant and conference rooms are immediately adjacent.
exteriorThis is a modern, purpose built block, approached via a private driveway. The hotel is set within its own grounds with a large car park to the side.
restaurantThe relaxed restaurant serves a range of traditional cuisine, with an emphasis on Scottish dishes and local produce.
roomsThe medium sized bedrooms are all decorated and furnished in the same traditional style and offer a range of modern amenities including trouser press, tea and coffee facilities and satellite television. The white tiled bathrooms are in good condition, as are the bedrooms.
locationThe hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of Bathgate between Glasgow and Edinburgh, affording easy access to both cities. Situated a few minutes from the M8, the hotel offers good road links to all parts of the country.
