generalThis hotel is excellent for all types of travelers, and for both groups and individuals due to its high standard and perfect location. 291007JG
lobbyThe medium sized lobby is fairly modern with marble floor and a wood reception desk. This leads to a lounge area which has recently been renovated to create a more modern and up-to-date atmosphere with modern leather seating, modern lighting and a bar area offering drinks and light snacks throughout the day. This renovation has created a very warm and welcoming lobby area.
exteriorThe exterior is traditional and fairly grand.
restaurantThe hotel has a cafe overlooking the main street leading down from Central Station to Dam Square which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks and snacks and is a very informal atmosphere and popular with locals and tourists alike. The breakfast room for in-house guests is in a separate, large room which has recently been renovated and reflects a more modern theme, with plenty of sunlight and even a small, private eating room for private parties, or large families etc. The hotel also has an extremely popular bar area.
roomsThe medium to large rooms are beautifully decorated in a dark brown and beige colour scheme but are still bright due to the large windows. Although recently refurbished, they are traditional in style. The medium sized, white tiled bathrooms are also particularly notable.
locationThe hotel is located in the heart of the city centre overlooking Central station and the many famous canals. It is only a five minute walk from Dam Square and approximately twenty minutes from the Rijks Museum.
