This hotel has a great location in the heart of Amsterdam, right on the world famous Albert Cuypstraat with its daily street market. It is also close to the famous Heineken Brewery and most of the citys tourist attractions, including the Musuemplein with its Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum and Stedelijk museum
restaurant
The hotel boasts a renowned fusion restaurant called Izakaya which is very popular with locals and therefore reservations are advised. It is a large and bright restaurant with pavement seating in the summer and has a varied selection of fusion food and a large wine menu
exterior
The exterior is large and impressive and used to be a diamond factory
lobby
The lobby is in the style of a small library or someones private study with leather furniture, books adorning a bookshelf and varied pieces of art. there is also a small reception area. On the other side of the lobby is the restaurant entrance.
general
This is a lovely boutique style hotel in the centre of town which only opened in 2012. It already has a popular following and its restaurant is one of the trendiest eateries that Amsterdam has to offer.
